Supporting Picture The Diabetes Dialogue

Screenshot The Diabetes Dialogue

Diabetes Dialogue is about helping to assess the state of diabetes healthcare in your area and across the UK. The dialogue itself took place at the end of 2004, but in 2005 there was another dialogue to see if progress had been made. Both dialogues were presented in an online moderated forum.

Additional Description:
The conclusions of the first were presented by Adrian Sanders MP to Rosie Winterton MP, Minister of State for Health Services, in Parliament during March 2005. The second consultation presents an opportunity to determine where progress has been made and where improvements are still needed. The project's provider Diabetes UK will continue to monitor government responses to "Diabetes: State of the Nations 2005" and hope that the report will stimulate ongoing debate among policy-makers, medical professionals and all interested parties.
