Mehrwertsteuer? Finger Weg!
This E-Mail project was set up against the implementation of an increased value added tax (V.A.T.). This action was meant to remember the ruling German social democratic party (SPD) that they campaigned against it in 2005. In spite of everything, the increased V.A.T. has become reality.
Additional Description:
On the website users could sign a standard eMail with four alternatives to the increasing of the V.A.T.. Every evening, campact would send them to the SPD financial specialist. The project is now closed, a total of 3535 people participated. The SPD let the increased V.A.T. happen, because of political pressure from their coalition partner, the christian democrats (CDU).
