Bahn für alle
On the website "railways for everyone", ATTAC is calling all Germans to make a stand against the privatization of the national railways, the Deutsche Bahn. In an online petition, people can sign a letter, in which they claim their MP’s to vote against any form of privatisation of the German Railways.
Additional Description:
“Mobility is a primary need and shouldn’t be exploited by venture capitalists”, is one of the arguments on the Website. In March 2007 the German Parliament will discuss the privatization of the railways. Alongside the online petition against it, users can also donate to the campaign and a documentary about the privatization of the railway. The users can discuss their views in a mailinglist.
