This website arose out of the desire to provide citizens of Bad Honnef a modern form of citizen participation and, at once, to enhance the model “Bad Honnef” achieved in 2003. The former thematically organised forums are changed into thematical weblogs with a comment function.

Surrey County Council
A local project by the Surrey City Council. At the start, consultations are sorted according to those running and those completed. The consultations are anonymous, all personal information is optional. For each completed consultation, a PDF file is made available containing all details.

Not Apathetic
The aim of the project was for non-voters to explain the reasons why they intended not to go to the polls. Journalists and politicians who are interested in nonvoters can use the website as a platform for finding out why citizens do not go to vote. Users could also comment on the explanations.

I Voted For You Because
IVotedForYouBecause.com is a place where users can tell the world why they voted the wa they did. Elections measure the votes cast, but not why they were cast. This website lets you tell your MP which policies from their manifestos you voted for or what your priorities are for them in Parliament.

Former readmyday is now known as "Blog in a box". This project startete as a website where RSS-Feeds of politicians' blogs came together. In 2007, ICELE took over the pilot project and now provides a space for civic leaders and senior officers who want to blog.
