Viewfinder has been set up by Bristol City Council to see if video can encourage more younger people to take part in local democracy by giving their views using technology that they feel comfortable with. Registred users can send in content about local issues on a monthly basis and discuss it online.

Ask Bristol
The views and opinions of citizens living in the Bristol region should be collected and discussed. In a further step, the discussion results are forwarded to government officials and media representatives. The goal is to thereby achieve the citizen-oriented design of future plans for the Bristol region.

Bristol ePetitioner
The Bristol City Council offers the option of submitting petitions online as well as supporting or commenting on the requests of other petitioners. Each e-petition also has its own discussion forum, where supporters and others can discuss the petition and surrounding issues online.
