Young people should get involved in the discussion about future topics for Austrian politics. In four phases they could rate political statements and develop own concepts.

The results should be communicated to political officials.
mitmachen.at was also a research project about political online communication, developed by the Austrian Federal Data Centre and the METIS Institute for Economic and Political Research. Eight topics were open for discussion: environment, health, education, safity, infrastructure, welfare system, political system, and jobs. The results are still online.
